First Ladies and the Big White Lie is a political play that brings history's most iconic First Ladies back to life to reckon with the contradictions, deceptions, and unfinished promises at the heart of American democracy.  It has been performed in staged readings across the country — including New York and Washington D.C. — and was created to challenge, educate, and spark honest conversation about where we've been and where we're going.
